It enables moving from traditional paper-based case filing to automation of the entire case life cycle. Income Tax Appellate e-Tribunal provides a complete set of functionality including e-filing appeals, petitions cases etc, workflow management, Fixation of case, preparing cause list and reporting.
Using this portal, appellants will be able to file appeals, cross objections, stay applications and miscellaneous applications electronically. Memorandum and Grounds of Appeals will be generated dynamically which can be signed by the appellants and uploaded. Documents required to be uploaded will be pre-defined for each appeal type so that the users will know and keep beforehand the documents for uploading.
