FSSAI – Save Food, Share Food, Share Joy Initiative:
Website & Mobile Application Development

Project Overview

FSSAI initiated the Save Food, Share Food, Share Joy program with the objective of reducing food waste,
promoting food donation, and establishing a unified ecosystem for food collection agencies across India. Under this initiative, the Indian Food Sharing Alliance (IFSA) was formed to bring together food collection agencies, donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries.

The project involved the design and development of two interlinked portals and two mobile applications for the campaigns:

1. Street Food Vendor Has a Heart – enabling vendors to donate every 10th meal to the needy.
2. I Too Have a Heart – encouraging food donation by restaurants, retailers, citizens, and food
businesses.

The scope included building a responsive, CMS-driven digital platform with optimized performance, socialmedia integration, security audit compliance, and content migration from existing systems.
